If you’ve been following Twitter since Apple announced the new iPad on Wednesday, you’ve undoubtedly run across a number of comments noting the oh-so-elusive connection between the name iPad and women’s menstrual products.   (Because menstruation is funny!  And weird!  Get it?)  Irritated by the inanity  of these comments?  Were you reminded that you keep meaning to buy the Diva Cup and ditch your monthly contribution to ye ol’ tampon corporation?  Well, take a cue from these guys over at Tampon Crafts.  In addition to showing you How to Make an iTampon, they’ve also nailed the arts of Father’s Day Tampon Toupee crafting and Tampon Blowgun design.

Also, MadTV spoofed the iPad in 2005, in a clip that manages to be pretty hilarious without relying on the “ewwww, period!” trope.
